AWARDS & CERTIFICATION
Goodhope's comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management process identifies and rates every type of risk associated with all significant business functions and processes, and ensures that suitable action plans have been developed to mitigate and manage these risks. The internal control framework is overseen by an Audit Committee, further enhancing good governance within the Group.
Goodhope adheres to the standards and practices established by leading industry, regulatory and professional bodies, and has a number of certifications to reflect its efforts.
- All our plantations subscribe to the Principles & Criteria as laid out by the RSPO, while our more mature plantations have obtained membership of the RSPO in 2006.
- We have obtained the ISO Standard 14001:2004 which provides the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS) for some of our plantations.
- Our more mature plantations have obtained the OHSAS 18001 standard, which establishes Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
